Vat prints, pigment prints, and discharge prints on 100% cotton, PC, and CVC woven bases — in 17+ pattern categories including floral, geometric, digital, and children’s prints.
Printed fabric is woven textile on which a pattern or design has been applied using dyes or pigments through rotary screen, flatbed screen, digital inkjet, or block printing. Unlike dyed fabric — which is a single solid colour — printed fabric carries multi-colour patterns, motifs, and designs directly on the cloth surface.
Abtex International (Pvt.) Ltd. supplies printed fabric from Pakistan in three main dye classes — vat prints, pigment prints, and discharge (emphasized) prints — on 100% cotton, polyester-cotton (PC), and CVC woven bases including poplin, voile, lawn, twill, sheeting, and flannel.
With over 17 pattern categories available — from classic floral and geometric designs to children’s prints, photo-prints, and digital computerized prints — we cater to fashion brands, home textile buyers, children’s wear manufacturers, and retail chains worldwide.
Printed fabric goes through a sequence of preparation, printing, and finishing steps to ensure sharp pattern definition, even colour, and durable wash fastness.
The printing method determines pattern repeat size, colour count, run length economics, and design complexity. We supply fabric produced by all major commercial printing methods.
The most widely used commercial method for large fabric runs. Engraved cylindrical screens rotate continuously, applying dye paste at high speed. Ideal for bold designs with up to 16 colours — cost-effective for mid-to-large order quantities.
Flat screens are pressed onto the fabric in sequence, one colour at a time. Suitable for large repeat patterns and specialty effects. Slower than rotary but offers excellent colour depth and precision for premium prints.
Inkjet heads apply dye directly onto fabric from a digital file — no screens required. Perfect for photo-realistic prints, complex computerized designs, short runs, and sample development. Offers unlimited colour and repeat size options.
A chemical paste is printed onto dyed fabric to selectively remove the base colour, creating soft-hand patterns with a unique depth. Available as white discharge or overprint discharge. Widely used in fashion casualwear and premium shirting.
The dye or pigment type determines the hand feel, fastness properties, and suitability for different end uses.
Abtex International (Pvt.) Ltd. supplies printed fabric across a wide range of pattern categories to serve fashion, home textiles, children’s wear, and specialty markets.
